This fast growing pear tree of antiquity produces great crops of large yellow-green fruit. The white flesh and juicy smooth texture has been the long running standard of homesteaders and orchardists alike due to its easy grow nature.
While preferring deep, fertile well drained soil, it will tolerate other well drained soil types but with lower yields. The Bartlett Pear is self-fruiting, but will produce higher yields if planted within 50’ of another Bartlett Pear.
